We do not sell website visitor data.

When Sentinel is used, the system does not collect raw biometric data from workers.

Biometric signals (such as heart rate or blood oxygen) are processed locally on the device and are not transmitted to Sentinel in raw form. Sentinel receives derived indicators, scores, and event signals generated by on-device algorithms, rather than underlying biometric measurements.

As a result:

• Njord Sentinel does not have access to raw biometric data
• Raw biometric data is not stored on Sentinel servers
• Raw biometric data is not visible to employers or Sentinel operators

The Sentinel system may receive:

• Derived risk indicators or scores generated on-device
• Event signals (such as fall detection or no-response events)
• System acknowledgements and timestamps
• Non-biometric contextual signals (e.g. elevation change, barometric trends)

Information processed by Sentinel is used to:

• Surface alerts and event signals
• Provide operational context around safety-relevant events
• Support system functionality, reliability, and improvement
• Communicate with organizations using Sentinel

Sentinel processes derived indicators, not raw biometric data.

Sentinel is not a medical device and does not diagnose health conditions, provide medical advice, or perform medical evaluations.

Sentinel is designed with clear visibility boundaries:

• Workers may view their own signals, indicators, or alerts directly on their device
• Sentinel does not provide employers with individual biometric data or raw health measurements
• Sentinel does not provide employers with individual medical evaluations or diagnoses
• Employer access is limited to alerts and operational event context, as configured for the deployment

Sentinel is intended to support safety awareness and response, not surveillance, discipline, or productivity monitoring.

In limited cases, Sentinel may participate in research, validation, or system-improvement initiatives that require access to additional data.

In such cases:

• Participation is explicitly disclosed
• Individuals are informed in advance
• Any additional data collection requires affirmative awareness and consent
• Participation is voluntary and separate from standard Sentinel operation

No additional biometric data is collected without clear notice and consent.

• With trusted service providers supporting Sentinel operations
• When required by law or legal process
• As otherwise specified in applicable agreements
